How do I find the right hat size?
To find your perfect Tilley fit, measure the circumference of your head approximately one inch above your eyebrows. For the most comfortable experience, our hats are designed to fit loosely; you should be able to insert two fingers between the hat and your forehead.
What is the Tilley Lifetime Guarantee?
Most Tilley hats are guaranteed for life against wearing out, falling apart, shrinking, or mildew. If your hat qualifies, we will replace it free of charge. Please ensure you register your hat on our website within 90 days of purchase to activate this coverage.
How long does shipping take and what are the costs?
We offer standard shipping which typically takes 5-7 business days, and express shipping which takes 2-3 business days. Shipping is free on all orders over $150. For orders below that threshold, a flat rate is calculated at checkout based on your location.
What is your return and exchange policy?
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the items are unworn, unwashed, and have the original tags attached. Please note that items marked as 'Final Sale' are not eligible for return.
How should I care for and wash my Tilley hat?
Most of our hats are machine washable. We recommend washing them in cool water on a delicate cycle and then reshaping them by hand before air drying. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage the UPF protection and fabric integrity.
